New month, new songs (a 4+ hour playlist)
Music to welcome spring: David Byrne & Arnaldo Antunes, Arooj Aftab & Khruangbin, Mekons, Eddie Vedder, Eric Church, Tortoise, Haim, Bon Iver, Kwashibu Area Band and more.

Kwashibu Area sometimes remind me of Khruangbin, especially their amniotic take on old-school West African grooves. And NB: there’s a hint of late-’70s Jerry Garcia Mu-tron wah-wah tone (á la “Estimated Prophet”) on the song “M'akoma Nnwom” that’s just sublime.
